Few words from Kamila

It’s about five months since we have started the realization of the AIESEC Charity Project. So many situations occurred, so many obstacles we had to face, so many people we met and made so many things that facilitated us to grow and develop;)

For me it was incredible time. Time with high level of motivation, time with so fascinating people that allowed me to feel so great and important for them. The greatest success I have achieved are people.

My team consists of Agata, Ada, Łukasz, Kuba, Paulina and Ania. All those people were totally different.

When we first met in Bęsia, on Recruitment Conference, I felt so much confused and uncertain about the future.

Our first meeting was a huge challenge for me, I did my best to get their acceptance and trust. I knew I have to do my best so that they like the project and its idea.

When I look back on this day I feel so many things have changed. And nobody of us are the same as it was this day in Bęsia.

I’m so proud looking on MY team, experience they got, ideas they have now and passion they want to share with others. For me it was so much valuable time that I spend with people willing to learn and develop. Now I feel I gave my knowledge and skills to them and they are my biggest success, even in my life I think…

And now I wanna thank you everyone for all those moments we spent together. All those problems we had to face together, all conferences, meetings and many other things;)

I have no words to express what I feel now and how grateful I am to You! It was not only a great adventure but also life-changing experience;) Thank you for being in my life! ;)

Kamila

It’s good to be. It’s good to be an OCP.

Three members of our team lead projects on their own. Łukasz Papaj, Agata Grzywińska and Anna Gruba on 8th of march during the general meeting became OCPs.

Now we are standing in the front of a big challenge to achieve goals we set, lead a team and develop our OCes.

Łukasz Papaj manage project ‘Schools with passion’ which is directed to language schools, Ania – CSR project which consist in professional trainings connected with ecological issues and Agata lead Summer Camp - project directed to NGOs and companies which organize camps for children and young people.

We have also one OCVP from our team – Ada – who is engage in Summer Camp.

There is noth-ing left for me but say to new leaders ‘BEST WISHES’

So, she came ;)

That was a beautiful ice chilly afternoon. The sun was sleeping hugged
by snowy-white clouds, a little windy. I woke up early (at 10 am) and
i had that feeling, something is going to happpen today.

Me (Łukasz), Agata, Kuba and Kamila were waiting at the trainstation
for a little girl whose kingdom was far, far away from Poland - behind
seven mountains, seven seas, seven trees and seven cows. She was a
black hair, short girl with a beautiful deep eyes. And yes, her name was Paulina.
After couple of minutes of waiting in a chilly trainstation outside
platform, suddenly we heard : CIUUU CIUUU. Oh, the train is coming -
said Kamila. We saw something comming from the north - Yes, that was
the train.

The side doors of train has opened and we couldn't believe is this a
dream or is it really happen. First we saw wavy beautiful shiny black
hair comming from the train, that was her - Paulina. We stood like for
a minute with mouth opened...
Well maybe me, because Kamila sticked me with her hand and said -
Don't just stare at her and give her your hand, moron ! Then i
realized it isn't a dream, a beautiful princess from far, far away
kingdom really is here, and she is standing right over there.

I took her luggage, hugged her and said - Welcome in Poland.

A few days we have been matched once again!

This time a girl from Singapore is coming to Poland, and as the last time we are very excited about it;) Her name is Deng and what is interesting, she comes from China and studies in Singapore. She will be living in Brodnica and will be working in I High School there. She is coming to Brodnica on 10th of May and she will be there till 25th of June.

Similarly to Paulina, she will be teaching young students about Chinese culture, people’s mentality, language and some customs. She will be also trying to enhance students’ communication skills so that they will be much fluent in English.

Deng studies mechanical engineering but also would like to gain new experience so as to be multi – talented person (as she wrote in her CV ;) As I could see she is very talented and motivated person, she gained lots of awards f. ex. In translation competition or physics and mathematics competition.

She is also an AIESECer!
